Donjons can also garrison archers and villagers, giving players an extra layer of protection during enemy raids. ![]() The Sicilians even have a unique, castle-like structure called Donjon that can train their special Serjeant forces. They are an infantry civ that can build Castles and Town Centers 100% faster than rival civilizations. The Sicilians are quite different from the Burgundians and tend to focus on city-building and defense rather than brute force. Knights are one of the most utilized units for calvary civilizations, making the bonus extremely beneficial for players looking to do extensive raids and sieges. Burgundian Knights also return 50% of their gold costs to the civilization if they happen to die in battle. All of their economic upgrades are available one age earlier than other civilizations, giving them a strong advantage during a game's early stages. The Burgundians are a calvary civ that specializes in economic development. It will also include a new campaign that follows the life and times of Edward Longshanks, a ruthless English King best known for invading Scotland during the times of William Wallace. It's the first official DLC AoE II: Definitive Edition has received and will add the Burgundian and Sicilian civilizations to Age of Empires II's roster.
